Will backend development be extinct?

As always in the IT, there is no guarantee for revolutionary developments, especially in these days where there are lots of discussions about AI.

However, if you look at the challenges with AI and the explained way to implement the different learning methods, you will see that a lot of technical understanding is needed. The same is true for some other specific problems.

And finally, there is always a backend needed to interact with the frontend (at least in the current state of development).
It is similar to a good, well known and well presented hotel. The good qualities and recommendations are build behind the fascinating wall, and there is the back office with helpful personnel, creating a wonderful experience and distinctive services for the client. These services need to be supervised and enhanced continuously.
